Cambridge Stress Research
A team of passionate neurobiologists, neuroscientists, behavioural psychologists, machine learning experts and engineers dedicated to the science of stress measurement.
About us
We have created a software service that uses two ground-breaking new measures of stress, developed by our Founder, Dr Travis Wild.
Validated at Yale, and with more studies to be published in the coming months collaborating with the University of Cambridge and TU Dresden, we’re significantly advancing the science and management of stress.
Our wearable-derived stress measure is far more accurate than its nearest competitor (take a look at our Whitepaper) and uniquely displays the individual’s level of stress in real-time in a way that no others can do.
We are excited to share our journey and invite academics to enquire about opportunities to collaborate on their proposed research projects which may benefit from our unique measure.
We have developed the measurement into a corporate solution called Felix.
Felix is an enterprise SaaS & mHealth solution, with an advanced analytics platform designed to measure and combat chronic stress in the workplace.
The Felix solution will allow organisations to build employee resilience, improve their performance, and increase engagement; delivering exceptional returns in the global B2B marketplace.
The Science
Our measure has Psychometric Validation at Yale, with Biomarker Validation being completed at Harvard and Cambridge
It is the only stress scale that captures an accurate picture of Chronic Stress in each individual and across organisations/populations and forms the basis of the 2 patents granted - feel free to download the latest patent update below
This new gold standard Chronic Stress measure will soon become an essential component of any mental safety audit
It contains 10 subcategories that enable the identification of the best treatment interventions for each individual (never needs to involve working less or changing roles)
Pilot data for our wearable-derived stress measure shows 100% accuracy against the gold-standard stress induction protocol and cortisol biomarkers, substantially higher than the next-best in the market
Validation at Cambridge and Dresden
It has 30x the resolution of the next best and is the only measure capable of showing users in real-time exactly how to manage their stress levels (and it doesn’t require any reduction in employee duties, effort or time off)
Military pilot showed 35% improvement in performance in stressed personnel
Investment bank pilot showed a reduction of Chronic Stress of 21% in 4 weeks with very high engagement
Let’s collaborate.
